Dude, Where’s Your Membership Site?
If there’s one thing I think all marketers should have, it’s a membership site or some type of continuity program. Not having one is leaving lots of money on the table. And, I think many refrain from launching any kind of membership or continuity program simply because it sure seems like a lot of work.
I mean, we are sold and sold over and over again on the beauty of passive income. We see it everywhere in our industry of making money online. We strive for the ultimate “Internet” lifestyle… one that allows us to do as we please when we please.
We want that passive income that allows us to sleep all day, take long exotic vacations, take mini-retirement periods of time where we are lazy as can be… and of course have the ability to afford more than most people can afford.
Fancy cars (if we want those), nice houses… no worries about bills or affording things… zero stress about money and finances… no bosses or co-workers we cant stand – all of that is what we want in this online marketing world.
And, there are plenty of ways to generate a passive income of course. However, in my time online, the very best way I have been able to live that type of lifestyle is through membership sites.
Yes, membership sites.
Is it a lot of work? It can be, depending on how you set it up and what the membership site consists of…
But, it also can be very little work, with a lot of financial gain.
Quick math:
100 members who pay you $47 per month = $4700 per month or $56,400 per year (not a bad income)
The question is do you think you could generate that many members? If you do not think you can get 100+ members, then you might be in the wrong business. Sorry to be the one to break it to you.
I mean, just about any small business in the world should expect to have 100+ customers in a year. Unless you sell jet airplanes or cargo ships, I’d think just about most businesses should have more than 100 customers in a year.
But, with online marketing, it’s very doable to get 500, 1000 or more members. Personally, we’ve generated thousands of members who pay us monthly for all sorts of things. Generating 100 should be a piece of cake. Think about it, if you spent an entire year, focused on generating only 100 members who stick, that’s an easy 50k per year.
However, there are things that act as barriers to success for most folks out there. Those barriers are:
- Copywriting & conversions
- Technical know how and abilities
- Content creation
- Customer service and managing members
- Credibility
- Traffic and promotion
Those tend to be the largest barriers to success online. Time and time again, I’ve found through many students who train with me, that those barriers stand in the way.
This year, I decided that I would create a minimum of 12 new membership sites in 2009. These sites will be in different niche markets, but some will be in this market, the internet marketing market.
And, I decided to let folks piggy back ride on these sites, and even earn 100% commission straight to their paypal accounts (instantly) by promoting them. And, I will train folks to become masters at traffic and promotion as well.
It’s called:
And it’s not cheap… but it’s very high quality and top-shelf stuff. Only those who are serious about making 2009 a raging success should enter this program.
