The New And Improved Eric Louviere
Howdy!
Have you ever decided, just out of the blue and all of a sudden, to change things in your life? I mean, all of a sudden you want to rearrange things, fix things, mix things up, do things differently and make some significant changes in your life and routines?
If you have… then you should be able to relate to what I’m about to share with you.
You see, not only have I been rearranging things, rethinking things and reflecting on what I want to do differently moving forward, I’ve been doing that constantly for the past week or so. It’s like one thing after another.
It’s weird.
I mean, I got a gym membership and have been hitting the weights and stair master (which is a real bitch of a hard thing to do when you’re out of shape like I am). I even went and met with a Krav Maga instructor to learn that form of karate. I think I’ll wait a few weeks on that one as it looks very hard.
I have a new million dollar house we just moved into. I planted rye grass out in the front (which is something I’d never freaking ever do in the past). I’ve been eating better and sleeping better too.
I’m thinking much more clearly. I’ve been doing breathing exercises and meditating. I’ve been noticing things and enjoying things I’ve never really paid much attention to before. We have a great view at our new house and a swimming pool and hot tub. I’ve been relaxing more. It’s all very strange.
It all started when I drove up to Dallas (a 3.5 hour drive) to attend an event by Russell Brunson. Something clicked there at that event. I’ve been thinking and thinking what could it be that clicked?
What did this to me? Who the heck is this guy I’m turning into?
Whatever it is… I like it.
Today it dawned on me what it was that clicked.
You see, I did not spend much time in the actual seminar. I spent most of my time in the lobby and bar with some friends who were attending the event too. I spoke with a buddy of mine on a business venture we are planning and just relaxed there with good people.
However, I did go into the event to listen to a marketer I’ve always liked very much — and he goes by the name of .X.
During his first speech, he shared his personal story with us in the audience. It was a very moving story and although I have known Mr. .X. for a few years now, I did not know the extent of his story. I knew he had a house burn down and that changed his life, but I did not know the full details and the events that led up to that house burning down.
His story is what changed me.
He had a new child at that time his house burned down and I have a nine month old son. He went from not doing so good financially in his career in Sedona, AZ to doing great, working at home! Then, his house burned down and him and his family were damned lucky to escape with their lives.
He said something like, “All I had was a t-shirt and boxer shorts, which was what I was wearing when we got out of the house. We had to start all over with the basics in life, like a drivers license”.
I was fully hypnotized by his story.
I left the conference room and went up to my hotel room to get my lap top. In my room, I just sat there and thought about his story. I remember thinking to myself, “I don’t care how much money I’m making, or what size my house is, I’m going to enjoy life more and be thankful for what I have.”
That’s what did it for me.
So, I just want to say to Mr. .X. thanks… and also, cool beard bro!
